Did you know that it is estimated that about 70% of carseats are installed incorrectly? A properly used seat can reduce the risk of fatal injury by 71%. The truth is, carseats don't have to be complicated.

The carseat clinics offer a 30 minute one on one installation with a child passenger safety technician, certified through CPSAC. Receive education on the best practices and learn how to install and use your carseats correctly.

Please note - one appointment is for one car seat. If you are needing to install multiple carseats, this MUST be indicated so we can allot the correct amount of time.

COST:
The technicians are volunteering their time for you. We highly encourage generous donations for their time, knowledge and effort in keeping your family safe. While this is what is encouraged, we also do not want cost to be a barrier in keeping your kids safe so the choice to donate or not donate is left to you.

Please bring with you:

A manual for your car seat
A manual for your vehicle
If possible, the occupant(s) of the car seat(s) so we can ensure the harness is correctly adjusted.
If you are pregnant, you are welcome to come and we will show you what a well fitting harness looks like.

We are located at 205 - 12165 Harris Road, Pitt Meadows. The installations will take place in the parking lot. Please note, the parking lot is not a covered space and is subject to whatever the weather is for that day.
You will be able to access our washroom if needed, however please note this is upstairs, and only accessible by stairs.

COVID Protocols + Informed Consent
As per public health guidelines, masks are optional but encouraged.

We cannot be certain that a person will not contract SARS-CoV-2 while participating in one of our classes. The risk remains that a COVID 19 outbreak could occur despite our best efforts. It is vital that no person who feels sick in any way visit any of our facilities and/or utilize any of our services. We do not screen for potential illness.
