Katy Teasdale is a Registered Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant with over 19 years of experience in Perinatal care and Neonatal Intensive Care settings. Her work is grounded in strong clinical knowledge, compassion, and a holistic approach that honours both the physical and emotional experiences of new families. With an extensive background in breastfeeding, newborn care, and perinatal health, Katy provides evidence-based, personalized support that is practical, thoughtful, and responsive to each family’s needs. She is committed to creating a space where parents feel comfortable, listened to, and understood, and believes that trust and connection are central to effective care. Whether supporting families in the early days of feeding or navigating more complex lactation and postpartum challenges, Katy brings a calm, unguarded presence alongside clear clinical guidance. She respects each family’s individual goals and works collaboratively to support informed and confident decision making.
Beyond her clinical work, Katy is a mom of two and passionate about mindful parenting. She is humbled by her own children every day, which helps her keep a realistic and grounded approach when working with families. She explores each family’s goals while offering reassurance, support, and practical guidance throughout the prenatal and postpartum journey. |
