We invite you to join us in a weekly therapy group for new moms, guided and facilitated by Registered Clinical Counsellor Jess Preston of Reverie Therapy. This group is designed to provide care, community, and support to new mothers as we discuss experiences, emotions, and challenges during the transformative postpartum period. Take-home resources will be provided. Connect and engage with other new moms through this vital resource!
Details: o Sessions are held weekly on Sunday afternoons (3:00-4:30pm) o Starts February 2, 2025, through to March 9, 2025 o Location: Bellies Community Space, Pitt Meadows o Investment: $210 for six, 90-minute sessions o Babies are welcome (but encouraged to come solo if possible) Sample Discussion Topics: o Understanding mental health in the postpartum period o What does real self-care look like? o Building your support network o Navigating changes to relationships o Managing expectations o The “Good Mother” trap o Stress management o Body image and self-compassion o Coping with change Who Can Join: Open to all postpartum moms with babies aged under 18 months, regardless of their experiences. Ideal for those feeling overwhelmed, seeking connection, or wanting to learn more about postpartum challenges. |
About Jess Preston, MA, RCCJess Preston is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and the Clinical Director of Reverie Therapy, based in Maple Ridge, BC. As an active member of the community, Jess offers individual and relationship counselling both in-person and online.
